Rafting or white water rafting is a challenging recreational outdoor activity using an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water. This is usually done on white water or different degrees of rough water, in order to thrill and excite the raft passengers.

 DAY 1

Airport - Kandy                     
(110 km`s – 03 hours drive)

Overnight stay in Kandy


Welcome on arrival by Oranta Holidays Representative at Colombo Airport…. and then travel to your hotel in Kandy, visiting Elephant Orphanage at Pinnawala and a spice garden in Mawanella. Settle in to your hotel by noon and relax.

Kandy is an exciting place for shopping with souvenirs in wood, copper, silver, brass, ebony and bronze. Ceramics, lacquer work, hand looms, batiks and world famous exceptional kinds of Gems and jewellery.


Later visit the City of Kandy ending the day witnessing a Cultural dance show. 




 Day 2

Kandy - Nuwara Eliya
(75 km`s – 2 hours 30 minutes drive)

Overnight stay in Nuwara Eliya


After breakfast at hotel, proceed to visit the tooth relic temple in Kandy, later travel to Nuwara eliya mountain region while visiting a Tea factory/garden and also the Ramboda waterfall on the way. You will also be visiting the famous Sri Bhaktha hanuman temple related to Rama-Sita legend.


After settling in at the hotel, rest of the day at leisure……




 Day 3

Nuwara eliya - Yala
(140 km`s – 04 hours drive)

Overnight stay in Yala


After breakfast at hotel proceed to visit city of Nuwara eliya and then travel to Yala.

On the way to Yala, you will be visiting Sita Amman temple and Divurumpola temple which both places are related to Rama-Sita legend. On the way at Ella, if time permits you can visit the “Little Adams Peak”.


Little Adam`s peak is 1141 m in height, 3 km and 45 min`s by foot. Gradually with an easy hike up to the mountain of Little Adams Peak is a worth panoramic view.

By late afternoon settle in at hotel and rest of the day at leisure……



 Day 4

Yala - Mirissa
(130 km`s – 03 hours drive)

Overnight stay in Mirissa 


After breakfast at hotel, enjoy the wild life safari in Yala national park by 4 x 4 jeep.

Return to hotel by late morning and then travel to Mirissa, the most famous beach destination in South corner of the island.


Settle in at hotel and rest of the day at leisure on the beach……


Yala national park: It`s an experience of epic proportions that brings you up, close and personal with untamed world of wildlife. Whether you are an avid nature lover or visiting a wildlife park for the first time, if you come here with a mind that’s eager to explore and learn, you will go away with new-found meaning to life.


Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Divided into 5 blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares of land consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks and lagoons. Two blocks are currently opened to the public.


Situated in Sri Lanka’s south-east hugging the panoramic Indian Ocean, Yala was designated a wildlife sanctuary in 1900 and was designated a national park in 1938. Yala is home to 44 varieties of mammal and 215 bird species. Among its more famous residents are the world’s biggest concentration of leopards, majestic elephants, sloth bears, sambars, jackals, spotted dear, peacocks, and crocodiles. The best time to visit Yala is between February and July when the water levels of the park are quite low, bringing animals into the open.


This is leopard country, and they are the lords of the jungle ! with a leopard density that`s higher than anywhere else on this planet, these menacing predators prowl majestically in Yala, while elephants roam in their numbers with cautious deer scampering by their side.




 Day 5

Mirissa - Colombo
(150 km`s – 04 hours drive)

Overnight stay in Colombo 


After early breakfast at hotel, by 06:30 am proceed to Mirissa harbor to board your boat for deep Sea Whale watching expedition. Return to hotel before noon, check-out and travel to Colombo, the major city of the island.

Settle in at your hotel in Colombo and later proceed to enjoy the city visits in Colombo….. You might also need to take part in some last minute shopping in to some famous boutique shops like “ODEL unlimited, House of Fashions, Cotton Collection, Majestic city mall”. Spend your evening at leisure.




 Day 6

Colombo - Airport
(30 km`s – 01 hour drive)



After breakfast at hotel spend morning free at leisure getting prepared for the departure, later, on time your chauffeur will drive you safely to Airport for the connecting flight for safe return journey home.
